El cuidado de la salud y la economía. Una revisión bibliométrica

La salud es esencial para el bienestar humano y está estrechamente vinculada a la economía, ya que las enfermedades imponen cargas económicas que pueden llevar a la pobreza. Este estudio buscó identificar patrones y tendencias en la producción científica sobre economía y cuidado de la salud mediante una metodología cuantitativa, exploratoria y descriptiva, con un diseño no experimental y longitudinal. A través de un análisis bibliométrico en Scopus, se emplearon indicadores de producción, impacto y colaboración, utilizando herramientas como BiblioShiny, VOSviewer y Datawrapper. Se analizaron 54 publicaciones clave sobre el tema, evaluando autores, revistas y temas destacados, es importante señalar que se ha tenido en cuenta los derechos de autor, transparencia y precisión. Los hallazgos indican un aumento progresivo en la producción científica desde 2021, con un notable incremento a partir de 2023 con un índice h2 que subraya la creciente importancia de la bibliometría y la revisión de la atención médica. Las revistas Benchmarking y Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute son prominentes en este campo, y los países líderes en producción científica fueron China e India, contribuyendo cada uno con el 14% de las publicaciones. El estudio evidencia un interés creciente en la relación entre economía y cuidado de la salud, lo cual no solo aporta información relevante para la comunidad científica actual, sino que también sienta bases sólidas para futuras investigaciones en estos campos de impacto global.
